Omnipred Eye Drops

by Ben Lafter

Omnipred eye drops are used to treat eye inflammation or injury to the eye.  Also known as Prednisolone it works to relieve swollen eyes, red eyes, and itchy eyes.  This particular drug belongs to the corticosteroids class.
Do not wear contacts while using this product unless your doctor directs you do do so.  Make sure you consult him before any use.

Contact lenses can absorb the preservatives of these eye drops so it is recommended that you remove the lenses before use if approved by your doctor.  You can wear the contacts after 15-20 minutes after being applied.
So that the solution does not become contaminated make sure you do not touch the top of the dripper top and do not put the dripper to any part of your skin.

If you are taking eye ointments in addition to Omnipred eye drops take the eye drops before the ointments.  Wait 5-10 minutes and then you can apply the ointments.

Take the drops as prescribed by your doctor and instructions because if you take too often or too long you will be at risk of side effects.

If the eye drop Omnipred solution changes colors or become darker in color discontinue use because they have been contaminated.  If the eye drops are contaminated they can cause eye infections, damage to the cornea, vision impairments, and they may damage the eye.

If your eye condition does not get better after a few days or if your eye condition gets worse make sure you talk to your doctor immediately.
