What are Murine Eye Drops?

Murine eye drops is a natural eye drop solution created to soothe and cure dry irritated eyes.  In addition it also protects against eye irritation in the future.

Murine eyedrops are also a decongestant for the eye in addition to an eye lubricant. These eye drops work to constrict the blood vessels of the eye and create a film on the eye which gets rid of dry and red eyes.

What are the Active Ingredients?

Polyvinyl Alcohol 0.5% which is an eye lubricant and Povidone 0.6% another lubricant for the eyes.

Murine Eye Drop Warning

Do not use if the solutions becomes cloudy or changes in color.

Remember to consult your doctor before using Murine eye drops.  If any of these conditions occur make sure to discontinue use:

Eye Pain
Condition Worsens
Vision Changes
Eye Irritation Continues

If you are pregnant or are breastfeeding discontinue use.  Murine eye drops are known to be excreted in breast milk.

Do not take if you are taking any of these drugs or medicines because there may be a drug interaction:


Cocaine
Tricyclic Antidepressants
Furazolidone
MAO Inhibitors
Bromocriptine

These drugs may increase the side effects of Murine eye drops.

Again, talk to your doctor before you take Murine eye drops.
